The Dispatch Trucking Software is usually used for tracking and allocating drivers. The dispatch software enables you to list all un-dispatched freight bills – that is to which no POD is allocated yet. The dispatch software is designed for the precise processing of account details, which would be needed at every step of the on going business process, right from the beginning to end.
The manifest module of the Loose and Less Than Truck Load (LTL) Dispatch Software assists to create manifest for one’s shipments. Using the manifest module one can create a new manifest or edit an already present one. It has choices to remove a highlighted manifest if not in use. The manifest section also has choices to allocate trucker, agent, and cost of the shipment. The services provided by this module also include printing summary or detail manifests, required. The module has choices to print labels with barcode option and see the manifest before taking a printed copy. Manifest reports (by date, origin, and destination) can be created for tracking while the cost report generated supports listing of the profit and loss for each shipment.
The Availability Section of the trucking dispatching software allows one to input information concerning availability of containers such as available date, ETA, steamship line, customer appointment date, last free date, USDA, OBL, AGI and remark. The Dispatch Report Section of the trucking dispatch software provides reports, which demonstrate all open containers that require to be picked up. The Notify Empty Section of the dispatching software helps one to inform the dispatcher whether the container is empty and if it is ready to be picked up and returned. The Remark Section of the software enables one to keep track of communication between your people and the customer. The dispatcher can enter any additional details in this field if needed.
Once the container is marked ‘empty’, the system goes on to increment the notify-empty report. The respective container features in the report until the dispatcher allocates a driver to pickup the empty container and settles on the date and time of the pickup.
Driver Assignment Section of the transportation dispatch software allows the dispatcher to allocate more than one drivers. Utilizing this section the dispatcher is free to enter driver from already populated dropdown list, container number, type (Delivery to storehouse, deliver to client and return), date, base commission and other charges. The module shows all the drivers involved in the delivery, once the necessary information (Pro# or container#) is provided. Also, the module provides choices to edit any already present driver assignment and commission distribution. Driver commission is provided to list all the activities concerning a highlighted driver for a particular time period.
The Per diem Section of the transportation dispatching software is used to generate per diem invoicing. The return date of the container and delivered date can be searched by submitting the container number. Once the user inputs steamship line, the software verifies the number of available free days and calculates charge. The Per diem Section also provides choices to generate Per diem report for a particular period of time for tracking. Dates and charges can be changed by the operator.
