Billing for freight forwarders

Billing is one of the crucial modules in any freight forwarding software - it is a comprehensive, on-line, integrated system, specifically designed for handling freight bill entry. The freight bill module utilizes the whole information created during the setup section of the software. Utilizing this module one can create a new HAWB (House Air Waybill), do any modifications in an existing HAWB, or erase a HAWB if it is not invoiced yet. The freight bill reports comprise all the information about all HAWBs for a customer, shipper and consignee for a chosen period of time. The open freight bill report consists of all HAWBs that are not invoiced yet.

The Freight Billing module incorporates all your business rules on the completed freight bill and then produces an invoice in multiple formats as preferred by your customer. EDI, Excel or paper you choose the invoice format at the customer level. All modules have the same great “add on the fly” functionality as dispatch. Add a rate, route, customer or any necessary entity from the main freight bill screen. Advanced business logic such as no rate and low rate thresholds warnings and non compliance issues lead to emails automatically being sent to the person accountable for each area. Bottom line real time data generates real time warnings to real people so as to resolve an issue as soon as possible.

The automatic freight and product sales rating routines can be produced and utilized to rate a load in various ways i.e. Loaded miles, flat rate, per ton, per gallon etc. Built in logic routines incorporate business rules and validation before posting the order. In short, you can be guaranteed that your desire, bill your customers fault-free every time will be fulfilled.
The system automatically produces the bills mileage via the creation of a series of legs such as first deadhead, line haul and second deadhead.

Driver can be paid in unlimited ways, mileage, zone, hourly, percentage of revenue or any combination. This can all be defined at the driver level making driver payment automatic and comfortable.
